The journey of corsetry stretches across the tapestry of time, weaving its way through ancient civilisations to the present day. Originally designed for support and sculpting, corsets blossomed into symbols of femininity and elegance, reaching their popularity during the Victorian era. Yet, corsets have faced critique for their constrictive tendencies, and perpetuation of traditional gender norms and objectification.

 

Our vic set is a contemporary ode to a timeless treasure. Inspired by the traditional corset, we have added comfort without compromising on the fit. Swapping stiff boning for charming tie accents and coupling it with a flowing skirt, we have curated a fitted silhouette that does not hurt even after a fabulous night around town.

FABRIC & CARE

100% Kala Cotton. This garment is hand-made and hand-dyed, hence there may be some irregularities in each piece. Dry clean only; print and colour may fade over time.
